We dared to explore Tennessee’s most haunted aba We dared to explore Tennessee’s most haunted abandoned dam… and found whiskey at the end. 👻🥃
Just outside Chattanooga, we toured the historic (and seriously eerie) @damwhiskeyco, complete with haunted tunnels and ghost stories, then hit the distillery for a Dam good tasting.

Highlights from our visit:
🕯️ Full haunted history tour (yes, we went in the tunnels)
🏚️ Exploring 3 floors of the abandoned dam powerhouse
🥃 Whiskey tasting (so smooth!)
🐐 Pet goats + live music at the marina
📸 Epic views of Lake Nickajack

When we visited Roanoke, VA last year, we looked a When we visited Roanoke, VA last year, we looked at camping at Dixie Caverns, but ended up at Explore Park in Roanoke instead. We still made it out to the caves for a tour, though! We're big cave fans, and even though this was just a simple walking tour (we like to crawl and get dirty!), it was a really great tour. The guide had so many fun stories for the different formations they've named over the years and it was a great way to spend a saturday.

Last year we visited Roanoke, Virginia and literal Last year we visited Roanoke, Virginia and literally everyone we met asked us if we had visited the Roanoke Star on Mill Mountain- and we did! This is the largest manmade star and was fun to see up close, plus Mill Mountain has a nature center, wildflower garden, and plenty of trails.
