Our Review of Route 62 Motor Resort

We absolutely loved our stay at Route 62 Motor Resort and would 100% stay here again. Honestly, we couldn’t believe how affordable it was for full hookups and such a genuinely nice, well-kept park. It’s one of those places where you feel like you scored a hidden gem.

We were there in November, so the pool was already closed for the season, a little bit of a bummer, but we more than made up for it by hopping in the hot tub almost every night. Total cozy-season vibes.

We booked a back-in site, and while it was a little finicky to get into (some of them are tucked between trees), it wasn’t anything too stressful. Once we were settled, the site was great: clean, level, and really nicely maintained. We also walked a small portion of the on-site trail, which was a nice bonus, and used the laundry room- small but clean and totally did the job. We kept saying we were going to go play ping pong in the game area… and then never actually made it over there. Classic.

There’s a Eureka Springs trolley stop right at the campground, which is super convenient for getting into the historic downtown, just be aware that the schedule is limited in the off-season. We didn’t end up using it this time because of the November schedule, but having it onsite is still a huge perk.

Overall, this was a quiet campground with friendly campers, welcoming staff, and immaculate facilities. Every single area felt taken care of. The themed cabins looked so fun too- we’re already talking about coming back and staying in one of those for a night.

One thing we really appreciated: on the morning of our arrival, we got a text letting us know our site was already ready (well before the official check-in time). They included the shower house code, Wi-Fi password, and everything we needed, so we could just roll in whenever we got there. It made check-in completely effortless, which is always such a treat when you’ve been on the road.
