    June 16, 2025 - By Jen

I think I'm finally done with my racing-themed blo I think I'm finally done with my racing-themed blog posts now!

If you're even kind of into racing, Talladega is basically your Disney World. We spent a few days there and packed in all the best stops, from iconic tracks to quirky museums.

Here’s what made our list of must-dos for race lovers:

🏁 International Motorsports Hall of Fame - packed with racing history and vintage cars
🏁 Tour of @talladega Superspeedway - yes, you can ride through the track tunnel!
🏁 Catching a real race (LOUD, chaotic, and honestly a blast)
🏁 @talladegashorttrack - local dirt track fun!
🏁 Walk of Fame downtown- nice little community spot

This little race town surprised us in the best way.

Part 2 of the Anniston Museums and Gardens: the mu Part 2 of the Anniston Museums and Gardens: the museum started by spies!

Besides the Anniston Museum of Natural History, which I posted yesterday, the complex also includes the Berman Museum. Farley and Germaine Berman were spies who were assigned to check if the other was a double agent. Spoiler alert: neither was a double agent, but they did become friends and eventually fell in love. They then spent the next 40 years collecting historical objects and art from all over the world, which eventually became the Berman Museum.

You can read more about the Berman Museum in our post linked in the bio!

Continuing with our Alabama adventures, this one is all about the Anniston Museums and Gardens! We were honestly blown away with how great the Anniston Museum of Natural History was. We go to a lot of natural history museums and weren't expecting much from a small town one, but it was incredibly well designed and had some really surprising exhibits!
